the STATEMENT

I am taking a break from blogging.

It’s nothing of a big-words statement. It just isn’t what made me.

From a small child, I was fed with “Information is power”. And it is, and it does matter who you share it with, but, most of all, it matters what type of information it is.

To be concise:

  1. Most of the information on this blog isn’t cut for useful. Who’s to say? My standards and thoughts say that. So there is no real need to share it. Not useful, but it is also not defining me.
    I won’t deny that indeed I think that there are quite a strong bunch of things that are useful, if not unique with respect to knowledge. These are mostly the pages on Erasmus, Toefl, Studera and Romanian Keyboard Layouts.
  2. The last couple of years, including the experience of having this blog, have raised my ability and awareness concerning putting a layout for my ideas, thoughts and feelings. Therefore I guess I’m mature enough to restrict my output to that kind of output that has a header, a body and a footer, an output that links a hypothesis within a context with demonstration based on pure arguments.
  3. In the last year or so, coincidently or not… the time when blogging has been quite intense, I didn’t create something… to show off with (as a friend would say :p). I did NOT create. I’ve been talking about creating, but enough jaw-jaw. I want war!
  4. Although the thought of having readers is not to be neglected, I’m not made for posterity. Regarding this, I admit that reaching an estimate of 500 readers a day, without any tricks, is something to take into consideration.

Having said that, I will go back to my “sheep” as a Romanian saying goes.

I will reply to comments and such on the blog, but publishing will be severely restricted.

  • A cleaner-minded person
  • A Romanian bachelor student with a thorough degree project and a diploma
  • A master student in Sweden
  • A programmer with a product along his vision and principles
  • A conference planner/executive director
