If you have a version of the Yahoo Messenger greater than 7.5 then you might have noticed the advertising banner… Easy to get it out.
Just edit the registry path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\Pager\YUrl and add a new string key named [Messenger Ad] with the value [*].
Also if you want to have multiple sessions of the Yahoo Messenger, then edit the path HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\Pager\Test and add a new dword key named [Plural] with a value greater than 0.
