WordPress remote-login.php

I’m using FeedReeder to get my reading done, but sometimes you have only excerpts, etc and you need to visit the website, the blog, the whatever.

Weird enough, on some WordPress blogs (hosted at wordpress.com but with a domain redirection) I kept on being redirected to remote-login.php and then retrying, retrying, endlessly.

My search led me to the WordPress forum, here. This is how I found out that it is connected to “Flash cookies”. Yes, the shy-but-smart-looking Flash Player can now put third-party content data on your computer. And, strangely enough, in order to solve the problem with remote-login.php you need to clear your Flash cookies.

How to do that? :) Well, we’ve all been astonished by how some IT engineers find their way… this time there’s no breakthrough. Don’t worry, there is no hidden setting or command line that you need to run on your computer. It’s actually very obvious. It’s ONLINE! F88kers! So…. yeah, in short, just go here on Adobe’s website and just trash the settings of your browser’s Flash Player to your needs.

So what will be next? Going online to change preferences for Dreamweaver? Give me a break!
